Robert Bunleng Yontrarak, known to some as Bobby, passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 82 in Fresno, California.

Born on August 17, 1943, in Bangkok, Thailand, Robert lost both of his parents at a very young age and came to the United States to pursue his education. He attended Menaul High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Emporia in Kansas.

Robert was very much a homebody. He loved building greenhouses for his plants, had a green thumb, and was an enthusiastic grafter. He enjoyed reading books about plants, fishing, working on cars, and listening to music. He loved using his mind and was always working on small creative projects in his spare time.

A believer in Christ, Robert's nightly routine reflected his faith. He devoted his evenings to the Word of God and found comfort spending his nights reflecting on God's love.

Robert is survived by his spouse, Anupa Yontrarak; his daughter, Rhoda Yontrarak; his son, Jason Yontrarak; and his brother, Bunlue Yontrarak.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
